Expression of Interest

The objective of "FOSS TechVenture" is to inspire students to innovate, cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, and gain practical knowledge in the rapidly evolving fields of IoT, Drones and Cybersecurity. The selected participants from the program will have the opportunity to attend specialized training sessions in their chosen domains. The training program will be conducted in three zones across Kerala(southern region, central region, and northern region). Following the technical training program, these selected participants will be eligible to participate in a Hackathon program organized by ICFOSS and, that will be conducted at the ICFOSS office, Trivandrum. Interested and eligible contestants who are attending the training program, will also have the opportunity to receive one year of complimentary incubation support from ICFOSS.

The following are the Terms and Conditions of the college/institutions to participate in the expression of interest for hosting FOSS Techventure sessions and Workshops.

• College should have an ICFOSS-approved active FOSSCell.
• Auditorium facility to accommodate 150 participants.
• Projector, Audio/Video Equipment, and Internet Connectivity with minimum 100Mbps bandwidth.
• The registration process should be handled by the host.
• The host can collect registration fees from participants with a maximum of Rs:100/-
• The host should provide the arrangements for tea and snacks, drinking water, seating facility, etc for the participants.
• On or before the deadline, the host must upload the information form that has been filled out and signed.

• The last date for submitting the expression of interest: 18th Jan 2024
• FOSS TechVenture awareness session: January 3rd week, 2024
• Training Program: February 1st week, 2024
• Hackathon: February last week, 2024
